Do not gloat over me my enemy.  Though I have fallen I will rise, Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.

Jesus is my Savour, ah yes, but is He my Lord.

We want the blessings without the obedience...we want an easy cross...we want instant action to our prayer requests, after all we've already given Him the answer He should bless us with...we don't want consequences for our actions...we don't want to be treated like we treat others...and we choose to conveniently not remember our sins are forgiven in the same manner and to the same degree that we extend to others...

That is the fruit we produce when Jesus is only our Saviour but not our Lord.

Father, I don't ever want to be satisfied in my walk with You.  I want to always want more, to always draw closer.  It is my desire to bring honour and glory to Your name.  According to Your word, Holy Spirit convict me of my sin, God draw me to Jesus, and Jesus, reveal the Father to me.  For if I walk apart from You, I walk in vain.  Amen.

Come journey with me...stumble with me...have victory with me...

Jesus Christ will be Lord of all or he will not be Lord at all.   (Saint Augustine of Hippo 354-430)

You will get to heaven by accepting Christ as Saviour, but by accepting Christ as Lord you will bring heaven down to yourself.  (Jordan C. Kahn)
